/.../ So it is with Jacek Telus's setting of over a dozen poems by Czesław Miłosz to music - in terms of both composition and performance. It is a very artistically happy meeting of a subtle and nobly modest musician with the poems of a great poet. Any hypotheses as to "what Miłosz himself would think about it" would be both foolish. and tactless. This is simply my opinion - for whom Miłosz has been the most important poet for half a century, and for whom music has always been as important in life as poetry. And I think so after repeatedly listening to this album (and a couple of its earlier versions). And I wholeheartedly recommend it to all lovers of poetry and music. I will not comment on the individual musical and interpretative merits of the artistic achievement of Jacek Telus. I am not a music critic. I base this recommendation on purely personal aesthetic impressions. These, in turn, make me say quite simply: this is great /.../
